Who we are

Featherly is a mobile weight-tracking app published by Julien Graffe (sole trader, France), contact: contact@raphew.dev. This policy explains what data the app processes and why.

No account, data stays on your phone

Featherly has no account and no cloud sync. Your weigh-ins, notes, goal, height, reminders and preferences are stored only on your device. We have no server that receives them and we cannot see them. Uninstalling the app deletes them.

Home-screen widgets show your latest data from the same on-device storage.

Health data (Apple Health / Health Connect)

Only if you allow it, Featherly:

Featherly accesses weight only: no other health data type.

Health data is processed only on your device. It is never sent to our servers or to analytics, never sold, never shared with third parties, and never used for advertising or marketing.

You can revoke access at any time in Apple Health (Settings → Health → Data Access) or Health Connect (Settings → Apps → Health Connect → App permissions); data already written to your health app stays there until you delete it there.

Android: Featherly's use of information received from Health Connect adheres to the Health Connect Permissions policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

iOS: Data from HealthKit is not used for advertising, is not disclosed to third parties, and is not stored in iCloud by Featherly.

Purchases

Subscriptions (Featherly Plus) are processed by Apple App Store / Google Play and managed through RevenueCat (our subscription infrastructure). RevenueCat receives a random app user ID generated on your device, your purchase receipts and subscription status, and the pseudonymous analytics ID described below (so we can tell which version of a screen led to a subscription). We never see your payment details.

If you start a free trial, the app schedules a local reminder notification before the trial ends.

Analytics and crash reports

To understand how the app is used and to fix problems, we collect pseudonymous usage events (screens viewed, features used, steps of the welcome flow, subscription screens viewed and purchases, app version, device model, OS version, approximate country) linked to the random app user ID above, with:

Your weight values, notes and any health data are never sent to analytics.

We also use these tools to show different versions of some screens (A/B tests).

Featherly does not collect your device's advertising ID.

Legal basis: legitimate interest in improving the app. You can object at any time by emailing contact@raphew.dev.

No ad tracking

Featherly shows no ads and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. If we ever add advertising measurement, we will update this policy first and, on iOS, ask for your permission through Apple's tracking prompt.

Notifications

Reminders and nudges are scheduled locally on your device; no push server is used. You can turn them off in the app or in your phone's settings.

Store reviews

If you choose to rate the app, the rating is handled entirely by Apple/Google; we only remember on your device that the rating prompt was shown.

Sharing

When you share a progress image, it is created on your device and sent only where you choose, through your phone's share sheet.

Data retention

Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your data, and to object to its processing.

Your weigh-ins are already in your hands: they live on your phone and, if you enabled it, in Apple Health / Health Connect, which can export them.

For analytics data, email contact@raphew.dev; because it is pseudonymous and not linked to your name or email, we may ask you for details that let us find it.

You may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

Changes

We will update this page and the date above.
